WE CAN BALANCE THE BUDGET AND RAISE THE STANDARD OF LIVING FOR THE AVERAGE AMERICAN

The following details how we can balance the budget in the sixth year

and avoid the declaration of bankruptcy of our government

which will happen in the next 10 or 20 years if only a little is done.

We cannot afford the US government's  empire which will eventually lead to the government declaring  bankruptcy in the next 10 or 20 years.

The projected debt is going to exceed 20 trillion in a few years and eventually the interest on the debt is going to consume a unsustainable portion of revenues especially if interest rates rise dramatically.

If interest rates rise to 5%, five percent of 20 trillion is 1 trillion dollars in yearly interest payments  which is about half of what the government takes in as revenue and if the government continues spending up to 1 trillion on the military plus security ( excluding interest payments on the debt incurred by the military),
resulting in nothing left over for any of the following programs
: medicare ( approx.$600 billion needed yearly )
medicaid (approx. $200 billion yearly needed yearly )
medical research ( approx. $30 billion needed yeardly )
and  other programs that are essential to food safety, pollution controls, water safety etc.

Americans do not realize that the most critical issue is the  very presence of a massive corporate welfare system of the warfare corporations and institutions which has resulted in trillions of hard earned tax dollars missing or unaccounted for and the Pentagon will only be audit ready in 2017, as of this writing, but we doubt if the Pentagon will ever be audit ready since hundreds of billions are at stake for those who are more than willing to exaggerate the threat of the enemy in order to get to those billions.

Centuries of deficit spending on perpetual wars, pushed for my corporate and power interests,  has led to an untenable debt situation where up to 80% of our debt interest today can be attributed to past deficit spending on unnecessary wars.

It took over a life time of hard work for most of the four hundred richest Americans to accumulate a net worth of 1.5 trillion, about one hundred billion dollars more than what the warfare corporations and institutions take from hard working Americans IN JUST ONE YEAR :

If the US government gives up its empire, we can definitely save over $700 billion a year by limiting the defense budget to purely defense following the policies of Switzerland.

Even when Switzerland was helping the allies in WW2, Hitler did not want to invade Switzerland because of Switzerland’s neutrality and formidable defenses.

If our government follows the defense policies of Switzerland, we should have a defense budget of no more than about $50 billion a year ( much more than what Russia spends on defense per year even though Russia has over twice the area of the US )

plus another $50 billion a year to police the world, co-opt all dictators and Ayatollahs by putting them on the CIA payroll in order for them to do our bidding and expand the covert apprehension and rendition programs to apprehend and rehabilitate all potential terrorists and future "hitlers" for a total defense budget of no more than $100 billion a year, far more than what China and Russia spend on defense.

When terrorists/dictators are on the CIA payroll, you will never find even one CIA report stating that those terrorists are a danger to the US ( example: Saddam Hussein co-opted by President Reagan during the 80s even when Saddam was at his most dangerous and actually using WMD and the Muhjahdeen Haqqani terror network that was used in the 80s by the CIA to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan )

In other words, instead of trillion dollar wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the US government could have easily avoided war by working with the Taliban in capturing Osama Bin Laden when the Taliban clearly told the US government that they would put Osama Bin Laden on trial when he was found, since he escaped to the mountains after the attacks on 9/11/01.
The US government’s covert operations against Osama Bin Laden in 2011 was a lot cheaper than the trillion dollar wars against Afghanistan and Iraq.
But the US government is not interested in avoiding wars especially when the cost/benefit analysis shows that a profitable war will benefit the rich and powerful in the warfare corporations and institutions.
In order to satisfy the profit agenda of the warfare corporations and institutions, the US government will first spend trillions on a security problem and after satisfying the rich and powerful in the military/industrial complex, the US government will finally spend millions to solve that very  security problem as it did when an inexpensive covert operation targeted Bin Laden in 2011 after having spent trillions on the unnecessary "war on terror".

But the present debt situation will eventually force the US government to give up its empire and slash the defense budget by at least $700 billion a year.

The savings of $700 billion a year ( from the military/industrial complex ) can take place in the sixth year after certain steps are taken.
Right now the yearly military/security budget is composed of the following programs :
DOD spending $707.5 billion
FBI counter-terrorism $2.7 billion
International Affairs $63 billion
Nuclear Armaments $ 21.8 billion
Veterans Affairs $70 billion
Homeland Security $46.9 billion
Satellites $8.7 billion
Veterans Pension $54.6 billion
Other mandatory and classified programs: $8.2 billion
Interest on debt incurred from past wars : up to $431.5 billion
Total security/military budget for 2012 : $1.03-$1.415 trillion.
How do we get to $700 billion in savings:
DOD spending in the sixth year when a balanced budget is enacted : $100 billion ( savings of $400 billion excluding the savings from ending the government's present unnecessary wars)
FBI terrorism program: $0 in the sixth year, since the pre-911 FBI budget would be good enough to prevent terrorism, especially when the US government adopts the non-interventionist, non-military, non-instigation policies of Switzerland (savings of $2.7 billion in the sixth year )
International Affairs : $0 in the sixth year, since the US government does not need physical embassies since physical embassies are subject to physical attack
but rather the US government can make full use of the internet for a virtual diplomatic presence world wide with the help of Cisco's video conferencing technology while the CIA takes care of developing human intelligence and diplomacy in foreign countries which includes the co-option of dictators and Ayatollahs.

Video conferencing  software can be installed in any computer
in libraries,
net cafes,
other embassies,
local government buildings
and residential homes.
All diplomatic and other activities that need a physical presence can be carried out by the CIA.
Its very expensive to maintain a physical "fortress like "embassy in every country
and we cannot afford it since 40% of the money to maintain embassies is borrowed from places like China.
The internet has made it possible to have a virtual embassy in every country.
( savings in the sixth year : $63 billion )

Nuclear Armaments : $0 in the sixth year since the US government will push for world wide disarmament facilitated by the co-option of all dictators/Ayatollahs on the CIA payroll ( savings of $21.8 billion  in the sixth year )

Veterans Affairs : $70 billion in the sixth year since we owe veterans our apologies for letting the government send them deliberately into harm's way for the profit agenda of the warfare corporations and institutions ( savings $0 in the sixth year but over time, the savings will increase since our military payroll will decrease dramatically in the sixth year and those retiring from the military will also decrease dramatically over time )
Homeland Security: $0 since all the programs of the Homeland Security department can be taken care of by the FBI and the CIA since immigration should be part of the CIA/FBI partnership ( savings of $46.9 billion in the sixth year )
Satellites : $0 since human intelligence carried out by the CIA in every country is much more important than satellite surveillance ( savings of $8.7 billion in the sixth year )
Veterans Pensions: $54.6 billion since the government owes our veterans for deliberately sending them into harm's way, but over time since the military will be drastically reduced in the sixth year. pensions will also decrease ( savings of $0 in the sixth year )
Other mandatory and classified programs : $0 since the CIA can easily do its missions and programs within the total $100 billion a year security/military budget ( savings of $8.2 billion in the sixth year )
Interest on the debt incurred in past wars : $109.1-$431.5 billion since we owe all those the government borrowed from in conducting unnecessary wars since 1776. ( savings of $0 in the sixth year )
From the above programs , the total savings is about $551 billion plus the $150 billion from the present unnecessary wars totals savings of about $700 billion in the sixth year
The following steps need to be taken to solve the problem of the $14 trillion dollar debt crisis which is projected to hit about $21 Trillion in about 5 to 10 years:
(1)Tell everybody who benefits from government programs that they have five years to adjust to the fact that their program will be cut according to the formula established at the beginning of the 6th year.
During this five year period, all those benefiting from government programs will be given zero percent interest rate loans for their schooling and living expenses to retrain themselves or to refit their factories to adjust to the new austerity environment.
All interest free loans to be repaid within 20 years.
During the five year transitional period, all those who benefited from government programs will be given their full salaries while being retrained.

During the transitional five years, all Americans will receive according to their financial situation, a monthly government check paid directly into their health savings account which can only be withdrawn to pay for health care insurance policies and after the austerity program kicks in during the sixth year, the government will keep paying the checks according to a balanced budget program but all payments will be into health savings accounts for the sole purposes of buying health insurance.
If Americans go for regular free health check ups and if they pass their health examinations, then the government will pay them directly a portion of the savings due to them taking care of their health by staying fit.
Government will also subsidize gym fees and the cultivation of organic fruits and vegetables so that Americans can afford to go to the gym and eat cheaper organic fruits and vegetables to stay healthy in order to get the bonus checks from the government when they pass their free health exams.

(2) Figure the interest on the debt at the end of the fifth year and deduct that amount from the revenues generated by the government during the fifth year
(3) Deduct another billion from the revenues generated by the government during the end of the fifth year
(4) What is left of the revenue during the fifth year after the above deductions will go towards all government programs in the sixth year in proportion to what they were getting in the fifth year.
In other words, the net revenue from the fifth year (after interest and the one billion dollar deduction) will serve as a guide for the sixth year as to the approximate revenue for the sixth year and the proportional allocation of revenues to each government program.
IN THE SIXTH YEAR, THE MILITARY/INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX BUDGET WILL BE SLASHED BY $700 BILLION (AT LEAST) A YEAR AND THE TOTAL MILITARY BUDGET CANNOT EXCEED $100 BILLION A YEAR PLUS AN INCREASE IS ALLOWED FOR THE INFLATION RATE.
The $50 billion defense budget in the sixth year would be distributed among the coastal and border states in proportion to the state GDP and the states will be in charge of investing the money along the self defense policies of Switzerland while the national central military command coordinates the defense activities of individual states.
If the above is followed, the debt will not rise and the principal will be slowly paid off by a billion a year. The debt will take thousands of years to be paid off since only a billion is taken off the debt every year, but at least we will not have a crisis at hand in the next decade or so.
During the 6th through the 10 th year, the above steps will be followed and then in the 11th year, intelligent leaders will have to decide whether some programs will have to be reduced further or eliminated altogether in order to release funds to programs that really work and are beneficial to our citizens
Example of a good program that is experiencing cuts but should be expanded :
The Average Value of an NCI Grant Fell 22 Percent over the decade, meaning the government is not funding all potential leads into curing cancer and while over a million Americans die from cancer every two years and the government is cutting cancer research funding over the decade, at the same time, the government is greatly expanding the corporate welfare programs of the warfare institutions and corporations by trillions of dollars over the decade with the excuse that 3000 Americans died on 9/11/01
http://www.aacr.org/home/publi...esearch-funding.aspx
Why is  cancer research funding being cut when it has been proven that government backed medical research, according to the authors of a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, have counted 153 new drugs and vaccines from public sector research institutes over the past 40 years.
 http://www.businessweek.com/li...ealthday/649734.html
Why is it that when 3000 Americans died on 9/11/01, the US government was willing to spend trillions of dollars while cancer research funding is being cut even though over a million Americans die from cancer every two years ?

Is supporting the profit agenda of the warfare corporations and institutions more important than the lives of your friends and loved ones and the   millions of Americans dying from cancer ?
